Minnesota has a statewide early goose season that runs from Sept 1-21. The limit is 5 geese per person and some great hunting can be had. You just have to be in the right place at the right time. I have been up north and have hunted SW Minnesota

the season so far with my good friend Tim Ellerbroek and company. We didn’t shoot limits when I was up, but we had a lot of fun. This past weekend we did manage to shoot a banded goose so that brought some excitement to the boats. Please check out the pics and videos.
