Our Story
The Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Walleye Club (CRANDIC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2020 by passionate anglers in Eastern Iowa. Our mission is to grow the sport of walleye fishing, promote conservation, and build community through tournaments, education, and youth programs.
We are proud members of The Walleye Federation, competing at local, state, and national levels while maintaining our commitment to conservation and community service. Through partnerships with organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs, Camp Courageous, and local conservation groups, we give back to the community that supports us.

The Walleye Federation
The Walleye Federation (TWF) is a national organization dedicated to promoting the sport of walleye fishing, supporting conservation efforts, and creating opportunities for anglers of all levels to grow and compete. TWF is a grassroots network of local walleye clubs across the United States, working together under The Bass Federation (TBF) in Oklahoma.

The CRANDIC Walleye Club’s mission is: the education of members and the public; the development, preservation, maintenance and general welfare of walleye fishing and fishermen; the development, conservation and enrichment of walleye and sport fishing habitat; the development, preservation, maintenance and general welfare of sport fishing and tournament fishing in the United States of America including the promotion of laws, rules and regulations to accomplish the foregoing purposes and promote the public good.
