A couple years ago at Lake Lac Seul, Matt and I found an area between two islands with lots of stickups. We threw number 5 and number 7 Shad Raps and caught some active fish on cranks in the timber. The wind was blowing from the southwest right down through the “chute” between the islands so I anchored up and we went to slip bobbers. We’d put them out and let the wind blow them right over the hungry ‘eyes! We literally caught one after another! Believe me, we’ll be checking this spot out again in June, especially if we get the same kind of wind. Thanks, son, for a great day on the water with you! Dad
