Our friend from Lake City, MN, Clayton Brandt submitted this photo of a sturgeon caught on Pool 4 Monday, July12th. Clayton’s friend, Jody, caught the fish while fishing for walleyes! There are twelve pals at their place of work who team up every Monday night and go fish against each other in a friendly tournament that’s running for ten weeks. The anglers find out which species they are fishing for–walleye, pike, or bass–that night then go target the fish. Jody caught the sturgeon on a three-way setup with a leader and Phelps floater.
