Featured in this pic is Fred Rackow, a great fishing friend of mine from Hampshire IL. He and other friends fished off a charter from Lakeland Charter out of Port Clinton, Ohio. Captained by Chris Clemons. They fished in water with a bottom of 27′. They used worm harnesses and either 3/8 to 3/4 ounce sinkers using drop counts from 5 to 20. Temps in the high 50’s with moderate winds. Used “hammered gold” worm harnesses. All their fish were caught in three hours. Biggest fish that day was 28 1/4. Best day ever..
