WW’s Gary Speicher stopped by to see Dean Marshall at Evert’s Resort on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River Friday afternoon, October 22, 2010. He was hoping to get a current fishing report from Dean but Dean suggested he talk to the famed “Hutch” about his week guiding on Pool 4. Tim Hutchison hails from Prairie du Chien, WI. Hutch owns a tackle company in addition to his guide services on the Mississippi River and Lake Erie. He employs 17 people in making jigs and plastics for numerous bait shops in the Wisconsin and Minnesota region. Hutch also custom paints crankbaits for anglers wanting a “different” look in their local waters. Hutch took the time to tell WW Watchers how he had been catching fish all week and invited young Tanner Harcey from Plainfield, MN, to join in and talk about he and his dad, Jeff’s, day on the water with Hutch! Watch this video to get a great tip on how to rig your rod for catching walleyes and saugers in the Mississippi this time of year! Thanks, Hutch!
