First off we should mention that the NWT championships are going to be taking place at Devils Lake in North Dakota starting this weekend. Gary Speicher will be competing at the professional level while sons Matt and Chris will be competing as co-anglers. Prefishing is going on currently and I’ll keep you updated as the tournament wears on.

This past weekend we also traveled to Northeastern Iowa and canoed the beautiful Turkey River with some friends in search of walleye, smallmouth bass and to catch up on each others lives. The scenery and the weather was spectacular. Video can be found below.
