Our History
2020 - Foundation
The Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Walleye Club was founded by a group of passionate anglers committed to growing the sport of walleye fishing in Eastern Iowa. From the beginning, our focus has been on community, conservation, and competition.
Joining TWF
CRANDIC became an affiliated club of The Walleye Federation, opening opportunities for our members to compete at state and national levels while maintaining our grassroots community focus.
Community Partnerships
Through partnerships with Boys & Girls Clubs, Camp Courageous, and local conservation groups, we've expanded our mission to include youth education and giving back to the community that supports us.
Today & Tomorrow
As we continue to grow, our commitment to fishing, fellowship, and conservation remains stronger than ever. We look forward to many more years of great catches, lasting friendships, and positive impact on our waters and community.
