Jake and Sam found out they like to catch catfish today. Sam was first with an 8.2 lb channel cat.
Jake topped him 10 minutes later with a 12.4 lb blue cat
They had quite the fight on their hands with a medium light slip bobber rod and 6 lb test line. They both did great and fought the fish all by themselves.
I have to admit, I probably wouldn’t have been able to land catfish like that on six pound test line when I was their age! Great fishing, guys!
