WW’s Gary Speicher filed a video report from the Mighty Mississippi River, just north of downtown Red Wing, MN, on Friday, April 8, 2011. “Anglers were fishing and catching fish!” he reported. “I drove over to Dean’s Resort and found lots of anglers putting their boats in at the resort in spite of the high water. They were parking their trailers along the road at the top of the hill that goes down to the resort. Talked to one angler who said they were catching lots of Saugers upriver from the resort,” Speicher added. Watch this video for a scene of river flooding fishing!
