Lac Seuls Golden Eagle Resort was the destination once again this year. Find out how to catch on the picture descriptions!
Here’s Denny with the biggest Northern caught during the week–a 36 incher. Spike gave him a #9 shallow running Rapala to try and the big fish hit the chartreuse and white fish the first cast!! FUN!!
Spike with a nice slot walleye caught on Lac Seul’s Steamboat Bay! They caught 56 fish Thursday afternoon between 12-18 foot on a rock shelf just off the deep water. They were using Whistler Jigs, Mister Twister chartreuse plastics, and tipped with a minnow or leach. Mosquito on the lens is a Canada standard.

Here’s Denny with a really nice smallmouth bass caught on “Matt’s Point” our first day on the water!

These two couples from Southwest Iowa came to us on their 9.9 because the big motor would not start! He borrowed Spike’s jumper cables and the big Yammie started! The ladies were not looking forward to a three hour ride back to their camp on the kicker! Lesson learned–carry jumper cables in your boat ALL the time!!
Spike, Denny, and Dave trying some Lake Erie techniques on Lac Seul–pulling cranks and spinners off Offshore Planer Boards! The only fish they caught was a whitefish–go figure!!
Gary, Danny, Dave and Denny with their clean Ranger shirt and new hat for the ride back to Cedar Rapids!
