Hopefully everyone is settled in and ready for 2015! Walleye Wisdom contributor Ralph Kitson sends this report from South Dakota:

 Some of you have been asking me what have I be doing?   Well, I have been fishing often.  Today, we went out ice fishing and we did ok.  Kept  9 perch that range from 9 inches to 12 1/2 inches.  Release many small ones.  Had several on that felt like bigger size fish, but they were released before they got through the hole.

Char also caught a nice size pike.  We believe that she missed another pike.  Almost dragged her pole through the hole.

Well that is it tonight.  We will heading out tomorrow to go after more perch!
