WW’s Mike Ganzeveld and Gary Speicher hit the ice for a couple hours on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Pleasant Creek Lake, three miles north of Palo, IA. “We moved a couple times, drilled a bunch of holes, and ran two tip-ups while we jigged with jigging spoons,” Gary reported. The WW team did not catch a fish but enjoyed the balmy 46 degree, sunny February afternoon. “It was really slushy on the way in around three for the awards ceremoney and the giveaways,” Mike reported. “Not sure I would want to be out here on Thursday if it gets as warm as predicted!” he added.
