Dave DeDecker and I put the Lund Explorer in at Diamond Bluffs early this morning. We pulled lead core and cranks on a commonly fished spot with no takers. Then we went to three-way rigs with double shallow running Shad Raps and pulled two nice ones within a short distance! Unfortunately, that was it for the day. We moved around a lot alternating techniques. We saw a lot of boats moving. It was a beautiful, warm day to be on the Mississippi River and share each others company. I’ll know later tonight if I’m fishing co or pro. Wish me luck!
