NPAA Meeting in Minneapolis This Year! Ron Lindner to speak!
I wanted to post the contents of the invitation letter here on WW so that everybody knows of a great event coming up in Minneapolis:

2014 NPAA Conference Invitation
To: NPAA Members, Past Members, and Guests
In 2014, the NPAA will work to “Motivate and Inspire” our Members and our Partners to continue to grow the sport we love.
Find out how you will become motivated to help grow our sport by attending the 2014 NPAA Conference to be held January 3-
5th in Minneapolis, MN.
The 2014 Conference will include a very strong line-up of speakers who will be sharing with us their knowledge and passion
for the sport. There will be numerous seminars on topics that will help our members become more professional at dealing with
their sponsors, the general public, and at running their businesses. The 2014 keynote speaker will be Ron Lindner, who will
speak on the future of the sport and adjustment our members need to make to maximize their enjoyment of the sport.
Registration and Partner Displays open at 3:30PM on January 3th. The Conference kicks off at 5:00 PM that day with opening
comments followed immediately by the annual NPAA business meeting. All members and potential members are encouraged
to attend the opening session and business meeting, which will be followed by an open discussion forum on the future of the
Association. From 6:30-8:00 that night there will be a Meet & Greet Party sponsored by Bob Luellen of Worldwide Marine
Insurance and American Modern Insurance. This get together will be a great opportunity for you to network with other
members and our Supporting Partners.
The 2014 Conference Fee is $60 if paid prior to December 18th and $85 after December 18th. This Conference is a great
value at $60. The conference fee includes admission to all breakout sessions and seminars, two meals and a third meal at the
Future Angler Foundation Fundraising Banquet presented by Yamaha and Skeeter Boats on Saturday night! Your advanced
registration allows our team to plan for the correct number of meals and conference room seats. Again this year, we will
offer refunds to attendees if they are unable to make the Conference due to bad weather or a change in plans. This
program should eliminate any hesitance you may have in preregistering for the conference, there is no risk.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel and Suites Minneapolis Airport will be our Conference host again this year. This is the same facility
we have used the last three years. The hotel is located across the street from the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport and just one
mile away from the world famous Mall of America. The hotel has offered our Conference attendees a very attractive room

the Crowne Plaza link, enter your arrival date and how many nights you will be staying, click on Group Code enter NPA in
Group Code Box and then click, VIEW Rates. Rooms are available on a first come first served basis and we are
expecting a record turn out so please book early.
Again this year we are offering an agenda format on Sunday that will give attendees a chance to attend 4 out of 6 Break Out
Sessions, all given by presenters that are experts on the topics they will address. This format will give attendees an
opportunity to customize the Conference content to meet their interests. The feedback we had from this agenda style last year
was all very positive. You will find a tentative agenda and the registration form for the Conference attached. The 2014
Conference will be one you won’t want to miss. We look forward to seeing you in Minneapolis in January!
