Ranger/Evinrude Pro Chris Burns finished in 10th place at Devil’s Lake with a three-day weight of just over 31 pounds. He received just over $2300 in winnings and contingency fees. “We fought the hot, hot, hot weather on Saturday. There was no wind. I couldn’t get the bite going I had the first two days on bobbers,” Chris reported from his truck early Sunday morning. “I moved to some secondary spots but there were other pros fishing them so we moved on and let the other pros fish their fish,” he said. “We were drinking so much liquid the Ranger cooler was empty of water and Diet Coke by 2pm!” Chris said.
