Boat registration reminder.

Remember, 2010 is a registration year!

DES MOINES – Boat owners are reminded that 2010 is a registration year. Iowa boat registration fees are due April 30, and are valid for three years.

Boat registration fees remain unchanged from 2007. An additional $1.25 writing fee is charged by the county recorder for each registration.

Thanks for the reminder, Mike! Now’s a good time to make sure the boat stickers get bought and put on the boat on a timely basis. We all like meeting the friendly DNR folks…but not to get a ticket for missing to get the new stickers on and the new registration safely tucked away in the boat. Spike
